    If I could give them no stars I would.Constantly buffering,no service,slow speeds,having to wait over an hour to speak to technical support,having to unscrew things to check the connection.I had been with Sky for years,but after they hiked the price up,I got Now TV and swapped to this shambles.Now I'm stuck with them for a year.Apparently 'I could upgrade for an extra £3 a month' I was with Sky for years,and never had to call them with any issues.I wish I'd had never left.Better the devil you know,than the devil you don't! Avoid!

    These people are thieves.. I'm trying to find where their office is.. I need to find them and deal with the case. They took my money and no broadband. SMH..

    Joined origin in December with a 13.5Mbps line , left today with a dead phone line , throttled to death ! What a traumatic time ! They don't care about customers ! THE WORST ISP EVER !

    Years ago, I had a satisfactory association with SSE. They were taken over by OVO and the level of service immediately plummeted. SSE/OVO provided unquestionably the worst level of internet connection and customer support of any provider. OVO pulled out of the broadband business leaving SSE to be absorbed into the Talk Talk empire. Nothing changed. Talk Talk dumped this failure of an enterprise on Origin who have ensured that the abysmal standard of service assiduously has been preserved so that the frequent drop-outs of internet connection which have plagued my frustrating involvement with these companies have been maintained at very regular intervals. One has to admire the consistency of dreadful performance of these people and their steadfast unwillingness to either help a customer or improve their level of service. Avoid them like the plague.

    They're cheap for a reason. They give you the cheapest possible router out there which can barely do it's job. It can't do port forwarding or anything like that without going completely unstable and unusable so some games are left with moderate or strict nat type. Supposed to get 70 down but it changes between 1 down and 20 all the time. Ping is unreliable and goes awful, if you're lucky once a week you get usable internet for games. To top this off they have support who don't have a clue and only know to tell you that everything will be ok. Probably from the mass calls they get.

    I can’t comment on your internet service or speed as I’m not even with you, but I felt the rude young man who just called me out of the blue on my lovely Thursday afternoon needed a review - because your customer service is disgusting. After telling him I didn’t know who my package was with (what do you expect when you’re cold calling people) he then asked me ‘DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING??’ Before hanging up on me. Delete my number and train your staff properly. .

    Such a bad experience. Spent hours, days and pulled my hair out ringing support trying to get my internet set up. From being told I could migrate the package to a new flat, to then being told I was informed incorrectly. Now after one month of having the internet, I have spent 3 hours on the phone for them to say they've just noticed my account has been closed. This is the worst broadband experience I've ever had.

    Overall my experience with origin has not been made clear, as I originally called talktalk for broadband and they passed me onto origin without explaining it is a different service provider then I wanted, also the wife is terribly slow and cuts in out out constantly. I tried to call today to cancel as I was told I had a cancellation period in which I could still cancel my contract, but upon speaking to customer service i was then told that such cancellation does not exist and i have to pay for the whole 18 month contract period which came up to around £300. I've never heard of anything so ludicrous as this. I haven't even had the origin wif box longer then a week and today was the first day I was even able to use it for a little bit before it cut our again !!!! So disappointed and frustrated with this service and I wont STOP until this is corrected. They tried to take advantage of me due to my age as I am a senior citizen and a key worker and saddened by this overall experience.

    No rating at all. Placed an order took money fast enough only to phone and find out that account was on hold due to no service available!!! When I did phone and check after I placed the order online. No e mail no phone call to tell me this I had to follow it up so no customer service either. Still waiting my refund been a month since order was placed

    There are two good things about this ISP - its cheap and sometimes it works. The rest is utterly bad.

    Atrocious, never ever got anywhere near the speed I contracted for, then they sent the debt collectors after me, got hounded by them and I had paid the full amount. A nightmare, they shouldn’t be allowed to trade.

    had been with Talktalk for about 3 years and to be honest they where not bad .then I moved to my current address thats when things started to annoy me ,no signal then it would rectify itself ,then I needed to contact them talking to somebody in South Africa for 45 minutes sometimes longer with mixed results or I would just stop the phone call left to go to ORIGIN why ? british company reasonably cheap AND when ,needed I could talk to somebody who speak English mixed results finally after a lot of messing about got decent speed I,m on ADSL then 3/4 WEEKS AGO I was in Middlesbrough bus station and talk talk where selling there services via there agents ,I decided to go back to them because I got a SIM card deal with my broadband .the router arrived plugged everything in and NOTHING I had a red light on for 36 hours tried everything plugged router directly into BT socket I use an extension lead still no joy pressed buttons on side of router still no response .so yes I,ll ring talk talk South Africa went through the problems and got the usual thank you for that ,yes we.ll run tests ,nothing we can find ,what kind of socket do you have is it this is it that ?I,m sure people reading this will be familiar with things I,m talking about so in shear frustration ended the call .tried again the following day same results so router and everything packed up and is in some post office in TEESSIDE waiting to be deliver to enfield and a letter to talk talk in London so i.ll be getting letters demanding monies owed to admission of failure on there part oh no .and the good part ,oh yes I did,nt tell Origin I was leaving so I plugged there router back in and after 3or 4 minutes bingo we are away ,I used this site to check speed and its faster than ever 10 Mps wow .so thanks to talk talk what I can't get my head around is this ISP and all the other 570 I believe are ,supposedly regulated by OFCOM I don't know what things would be like if they weren't so its tatty bye

    Diabolical don't do it!! I have 2 phone lines running through 1 cable, 1 line bt broadband, 1 line origin (changed as sales man said it would be as good or better and cheaper) definitely cheaper but Diabolical, not a patch on BT, wish I hadn't changed and now cannot get out for 2 years, so origin says no problem as I get a good service to router, but the WiFi is rubbish keeps dropping and slow, doesn't happen with bt line!! Don't do it!! Its rubbish, and tech are as useful as a leaking roof, I have warned you!!

    This company should be closed down taking money under false pretences. Not providing the service they claim they can give. Some days even amazons ALEXA. Won’t work. Today I phoned after 40minutes they answered. And 30secnds later the line went dead I only wanted to know when my contract ends so I can get rid of them. **** company wish I had never used them. If you’re thinking of going with them DON’T
