    Terrible! Took out a 2 year service thinking all providers are the same seeing as it's a BT Openreach line but these guys are a total shambles. Suffered terrible service for weeks then total loss of service now for 3 weeks. They've finally conceded they need to cancel my contract but can't even calculate the refund correctly. If you are stuck in the same position make sure you raise a formal complaint and if that fails look at the Ofcom site for the arbitration bodies.

    Ridiculous. Been waiting 8 days for my wifi to be turned on. Endless excuses about engineers. Been on hold for nearly 6 hours over a week. Wish I had read the reviews first

    Absolute joke of a company. Stay away! Poor internet connection and they never answer the phone. I've been waiting nearly 3 weeks for a technician to call me back to fix it. I've just cancelled my direct debit today and I'll not touch this cowboy firm again

    This is possibly one of the worst companies I have ever had any dealings with. We signed up to a 12 month fixed price contract as we thought the price was good. What a mistake. From the moment we changed over to them, our internet became almost non-existent. It would drop out for hours, sometimes days on end. It even got to the point where our printer could not connect to the network and refused to print anything at all. When we called customer service, we would be fobbed off with a load of excuses and put on hold for sometimes up to 20 minutes, finally being put through to their 'Technical' team who all sounded like they were completely clueless. We never once had any problems resolved by them. This went on for 3 months and after endless calls with no resolution we decided to leave and pay the breaking contract fee. We emigrated over to Sky and it was the best thing we've ever done.For £3.00 more a month the service is infinitely better and so is the customer service. If you want to keep your sanity, I suggest you avoid Origin like the plague - there are just as good offers to be had elsewhere with a much better all round service.

    Broadband fitted yesterday it’s not working I have to turn off broadband to use my phone I phoned customer service for hours to speak to 4 people put me through to technical support and he tells me I have to go to Apple to get my phones sorted this has never happened in all the years of use broadband I cancelled and they say they’re going to charge me for everything they said the cancellation notice starts from when you order the broadband not when you receive it the people I dealt with was very polite and courteous and helpful but they could not do anything for me I have to go to Apple to get it sorted I recommend not to use this company

    Terrible company!! Overbilled me when i switched provider, they then said i couldn't have the money back as they wanted me to return the router. No other provider as ever asked me to return the router, they said they will bill me for £40.00 for the router. I told them to keep the refund and have complained to the ombudsman. You call up and are on hold for 20-30 mins, its shocking. They should be closed down, but Ofcom / Ombudsman never monitor this company or even check the reviews on them. It says online that they are expanding, but i never know how they are getting any new customers. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!

    Was forced over to Origin from SEE after years of grood and reliable service this literally changed over night. As from the switch over date service slowed and became un relaible dropping out for a few hours every couple of days and eventually finally dropping out for whole days. The call customer service center is useless and I guess very under staffed and I would regually sit in a quese fo 30-40 minutes and move one or two places in that time. Whilst being insulted by the continous "your call is important to us". Three months in an I gave up. I called them and gave 30 days notice to terminate the serice and was provided a date. I am still being invoiced and charged six weeks after termination. They are part of the TalkTalk group so I shouldn't be supprised about any of this, shame they haven't changed in the last 10 years. Stear as far clear from this clowns as possible.

    Broadband suppliers do not get any worse than this shower ! Paid £9.99 up front for their basic package, one week later I received my modem, it's a generic modem and no welcome letter or installation instructions from them. I have a telephone line they have provided, and very little else, my property is not receiving a DSL signal from origin, consequently no Internet of any sorts despite being 3days into a go live date ! Phoning technical support or customer services ? FORGET IT ! You will be held for upwards of one hour listening to four cheesy songs that play over and over again ! My advice to anyone is stay well clear of this shower, they are not a competent Internet provider, and you can never resolve anything because you can never get through to them on the phone. I have cancelled my contract with them because they have breached their side of the deal, when they refund my £9.99 they can have their modem back, ive signed up with virgin now, good riddance to this rubbish bunch of clowns.

    Slow, unreliable, next to useless.

    I wouldn't be surprised if this review fails to get through.

    Same experience as many others. I've never even achieved to reach anyone from customer support service since my waiting time was always more then 15 min and I gave up. I just want my money back and forget I've ever heard about this company.

    My order taken over a month ago - money debited from my account immediately - no correspondence from them so cancelled order after two weeks - was promised refund within 14 working days - still waiting!!! have phoned again and have been promised refund within 5 working days - complete waste of time - WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS!!!

    Minus stars... Threatening letters saying I owe money, yet I paid what I owed them and returned equipment. Poor service, poor staff training.. Please avoid this company!!!

    Never a day goes by where the connection does not grind to a halt. High pings, data transfers nowhere near the synch speed and sites not reachable. They are a joke.

    Never get internet with these half - an hour waitin for them to answer the routers don’t work frew the day always looses connection and thehy fink am gna lay £49 for another router wen online its says its free installation and router not ad internet since last wekend they wunt recommend these to anyone agen Gota wait another month for them to actually cancel it so paid another bill for no internet

    Absolutely discussed how they conned a 85 year old lady,
    The contract was ended in April when she was put on bt ,may they collected £46 ,which they denied taking although I sent in copy of bank statement...which was final payment. To have a letter October demanding a payment of £261 ,she was still paying for telephone ,that she was supposed to have ended April...5 phone calls talking to a bunch of half wits ,repeating the same thing to me that didn't even make sence ..advising people not to go with this company as they don't care who they insult or take advantage of ..terrible company avoid with all cost

    Told can't leave without forfeiting all money paid!
    Putting complaint in to them and ombudsman .

    Don’t do it been trying to sort this broadband speed for over a week they don’t want to no can’t even get on eBay just buffers all the time supposed to get up to 17mbps getting between 2mbps to 6mbps when I reported it they say as long as your getting some broadband you can’t cancel contract this is not fit to use can’t download anything please don’t use this beoadband

    The worse broadband I have ever had, 2.4 MBS is unacceptable. The customer support sucks that's if you can ever get through to them. Streaming 1080p is impossible. Told them to turn it off as not paying no more for under 3mbs.Don't waste your time with this company as they are rubbish.

    Don't use this outfit should have gone on line 20/12/17 after horrendous time with there support teams still trying to get broadband 05/02/18 and guess whose fault it is mine and the are going to heavily charge me for this STAY CLEAR

    They changed my phone line but made what they called an error and never set up any broadband on the line. We were charged nearly £150 to have no internet for 2 months. Customer services has been non-existent and I am still waiting to be refunded after receiving absolutely no broadband.

    This company is appalling, have been with them for years, suddenly 2 direct debits taken on same day, 18 minutes apart. When queried they can't find my account, how do they still take direct debits the? Been transferred to another company, I have not been informed!! After 2 days, numerous phone calls a helpful person at the new company advised and said it was being sorted, as mine is not the only double payment! Sounds like a scam, fraud or something very " iffy " now my bank is dealing with it, they can't be more helpful. Origin deserve to go into administration.

    This is a terrible provider. Cheap but terrible. They have failed to inform my old provider that I have switched and I was getting billed. Due to their laziness, I Am getting billed from both providers. When I contacted Origin Broadband they told me that they have informed my previous provider that I was switching to them. My previous provider have done an investigation and said that they never received a leaving notification. This is not the first time Origin Broadband have lied to me. When they dispatched the wireless router they didn’t put my house number on the parcel. It was going to be returned to them and I managed to call the delivery man. When I called Origin Broadband and asked them why they did that, they denied it and said that there system shows that the correct address was sent. Stay away from this company, they are liars, lazy and you will 100% regret joining them. I would give overall staification ZERO

    It didn't work from the start. It took me 45 minutes to get through to Technical Help and then over the next week I spoke to various people as to why it kept cutting out. On 17th February I Was promised it would be okay in ten days. It wasn't and still isn't. Last week I took 15 minutes to get through to a man there who then put me through to a level 2 technical expert. Well in theory he did. I hung on for over 50 minutes then just gave up. I have now written to the CEO and await a reply. Pigs will fly. MY Internet still cuts out about twice an hour and one lady there had the temerity to tell me if I switched to another company I would be charged a penalty. Avoid this company like the plague. They are totally useless.

    The worst company i have had to deal with. Paid £279.99 upfront. Waited and waited for an installation date never come so I cancelled it. Waited with batted breath for the refund as they do not respond to emails. Finally got the refund thank god. I would not touch this company with a barge poll again worst experience ever avoid at all cost you have been warned 0 STARS not costumer friendly at all.

    After leaving talk talk i found this company on facebook, filled in my details and was called yesterday but i was busy so requested a call back 10.15am next day. Bang on time the girl phoned me. Straight away she got into her sales pitch at 100mph. I had to ask her to slow down several times as i could not understand a word she was saying. I asked several questions which again i think she answered at 100mph. I commented that Now tv , were offering a slightly better deal on calls made from landline, her reply was " go with them then" . I asked to repeat what she said and she changed it to " well you have to go with the best deal." Thats not very professonal is it i said to her her , to which she replied "oh watever" then cut the call. I was so shocked at this advisor, having worked for a top high street Bank for the last 17yrs as a manager in a contact centre both inbound and outbound service. Its no wonder this company nearly colapsed last year and to be honest with staff like her it wont be long before they are at that stage again if thats how they value customers. My advice steer well clear of this company

    Made me wait 2 weeks for a engineer and then he never turned up on day and never made me aware of this and I have had to call them 5 times in the past 24 hours about if they are going to send someone else but they keep talking about there system please please do not get bb from they guys unless u want to end up like me they took my money and have me no internet

    Absolute worst company I have delt with in my entire life.
    3 hours and I'm currently still on hold. No internet for 3 days! What am I even paying for.
    Considering I have to work from home due to lockdown and I am a key worker to clients as a health professional, this is an absolute nightmare!
    Run while you can from this company.

    This company deserves no stars at all, I have two accounts with them and have had absolutely the worst service ever. They never answer the phone or reply to mobile have had slowest internet ever despite BT coming twice to try and sort out - average wait time on phone to them an hour. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY- I will,leave them as soon as I can

    Terrible we applied for broadband first payment taken they sent rouyer to a completely different address spent an age on hold to find out where is router
    We then got a bill for nearly £300 even though we cancelled it and never had broadband or any other service from them intersting to know how they got that figure

    No stars for anything ! The Irish guy who talked me into signing up was nice! Then no connection lots of very young lads running about pretending to connect my tiny router !! Really wish I had read the reviews . It’s not really an internet company it’s just a scam to get £18 out of people. Now I can’t get in touch on live chat or e mail. They aight to be taken to court for fraud.
