The worst mistake of my life! Sky is broad day robbery! Cutting my bills and have not privided me with any service for the last 5months! Yet take 40pounds off me every month! I am in so much shock from how a service could be only interested in getting paid even when they have not offered you nothing!!! I have called customer service 4times!!! And nothing was and still has been done!! Thieves!! Criminals!!! Tied to a contract with criminals

SKY offers the worst customer service. Their behaviour is appalling and the staff is the most unprofessional ever. I will be writing a letter of complaint. In the meantime, I have stopped my direct debit and will consider liaising with my solicitor if I am harassed. Truly awful.

I usually don't like to give negative reviews but I felt that this one should be shared out of responsibility. My issue with Sky was not on the speed or the service but on a non-official increase of bill. I don't regularly check my direct debit transactions cause I couldn't imagine that companies would risk their reputation for few extra pounds. I noticed that there was £5 extra charge on my monthly payment to Sky only after 5 months of being regularly charged for that. I called them regarding the issue and all I got was someone who was trying to be funny with me so I can take it less seriously! They tried to claim that they sent me about the increase by mail but I'm sure I didn't get anything. I'm also sure that I have all my correspondence with by email not by post and I double checked my mail and it had nothing about the latest increase. I then was offered to get a discount on my package as a form of compensation but "no thanks, I don't want to stay with a company which doesn't maintain minimum moral etiquettes when dealing with customers".

By far the worst broadband i have ever had. Drops out once every 5mins cant handle more than 1 device, have to be in the same room as the router, support consists of none technical people, clueless about broadband telling you to restart your router. Best thing about sky is theres a 30 day cancelation period which i took full advantage of. Stay well clear of sky broadband!

Our monthly bills are around £100. We experience signal problems and on our Sky app we get 9mb but with you it is nearer to 8mb. We were promised 10mb yet Sky has only sent BT engineers who say connection is good. We have requested compensation for the numerous times we have had no Internet and several occasions when we had no phone. If you could advise on how to speak to someone at Sky who doesn’t keep avoiding our issue instead of giving us answers we would appreciate it. Thank you

Atrocious customer service and the most inefficient useless service provider I have encountered in decades. I moved to a temporary home and Sky messed up the home move leaving me without Internet for over a month. No engineer arrived on the day of connection after taking holiday to be at home. I spent hours and hours on the phone to Sky listening to their 'hold' music and heard dozens of excuses and lies from endless Sky staff. A month later I moved to permanent address, on the day of connection, no engineer... YET AGAIN. This time Sky appointed a member of complaints staff, who stayed in contact and pushed through a connection date for 10 days later. I was awarded compensation for the first messed up home move, which doesn't begin to cover the cost of the extremely frustrating loss of internet, endless hours on the phone and me sitting in waiting for engineers. It has now come to my attention that no compensation has been awarded for the second messed up home move and that I have been put on a tariff £5 per month more expensive than I agreed. So another one hour on the phone to someone at Sky complaints who isn't going to take responsibility and get to the bottom of the issue but expects me to call Sky again and speak to another member of staff. I have refused to call them again and suggested someone contact me, but that hasn't happened reflecting very well the contempt they have for their customers. I am furious and have lost all patience with the shambolic incompetence of Sky and would advise anyone consider Broadband with them to find an alternative provider.

NO STARS - DON'T DESERVE ANY WILL NOT AND WOULD NOT RECCOMEND TO ANYONE
left Virgin for Internet been off more then its on n still charging full price.
Went online ordered new installation of broadband, phone n tv with sky around 16th May paid an upfront fee n was meant to be installed 9th and 10th June 2020. On the 9th openreach didn't show up. 2 weeks of ringing asking why and got given a new date 24th. 24th came n went another no show from openreach. Rang to complain heard excuse after excuse was lied too told 18th someone would come out had had enough wanted to cancel as no apology no compensation offered nothing. I told them im not waiting till 18th when already missed 2 appointments. They managed to move our appointment forward to 2nd (today). Sky rang yesterday saying sorry but it won't be done till 20th now. Said I needed a few days to think about what I want to do. Was scheduled to call me back on Monday but woke up this morning with no Internet at all even virgin had cut it off. So been left with serve them taking too long nearly losing me my sentimental telephone landlines number I have cancelled and lodged a formal complaint with them. But they am full of **** and empty promises that they cant stixk to came even keep to call backs as planned.
I'm a keyworker suffering from anxiety and for the past 4 weeks I ain't been able to enjoy my day off because I've had to make phone call after phone call to be distressed to the point of anxiety attacks n tears.
Disgusting, unreasonable, unreliable ******** strive. Some Colleen said they have never seen an account like this or a new installation to take this long. They told me I have been messed and lied too. Joke..

so ive had this for a couple years now and over the time ive had it its never changed. download speeds peak at about 5 mbps which is lower than the promised 20 mbps, upload speed is atrocious consistently below 1 mbps. it has frequently dropped to about 60 kbps and its disgusting that they give you this and tell you you cant leave without paying the rest of the contract at once. they refuse to fix this and its equally as bad for the rest of the area i live in and anytime you complain about it theyll just send you another hub saying that that should fix it. that changes absolutely nothing. the internet speeds are absolute garbage. never get sky broadband

I think Sky is the worst provider ever. They have not fixed my broadband problem. They send engineers who do not know how to fix things. They dont communicate to the engineers beforehand what kind of problem the client has. You have to wait ages to talk to an agent on the phone. What a horrible service!!!!

The worst company I have ever come across. I average 2mb whatever time of day. I'm paying for 16mb. Just another pack of money hungry assholes who don't care about their customers. Customer service is laughable, they hire morons who know nothing about their own products let alone technology. Will be switching to virgin soon. Although I'm dreading what bull I'll have told deal with when I notify sky.

Absolute garbage. 'You will get 7mbps download' which is rubbish anyway but to make it worse we only get 0.3-2 download and 0.6-0.7 upload! 'We won't slow you down at peak times' every night after 20:00 it drops to nothing. When i am home alone it is semi-decent but when my family is recording something on the tv, or watching something on the computer, it cuts down to 20% ish. We pay £100 a month but we get terrible speeds.

For the pst 18 months myself and my partner have complained about broadband connectivity, We loose the ability to record programmes, loose recordings thyat we thought were recording ok and unable to download movies and the whole package is awful. We are fobbed off each time and although engineers come out the problem reoccurs. For £75 pcm the service is awful and not worth the money. I am going to look at alternative packages as the service is lousy. Totally p ssed off with Sky!!!!!

Booked sky internet , didn't work. Spent 11 days trying to get them to sort, 2 and 1/2 hours of phone calls and a bt engineer telling them the fault was with sky to be back to square one again with the same crap they were telling me on day 2. Have cancelled the Internet I never had and will never use sky again.

Sky offers the worst service I have ever received in all my life. First of all, they were meant to fix my internet, they didn't and did not say why. They finally got me connected the next week, 2 days short of a week. Next they gave me date and time range to come fix my tv broadband. I asked that they make it closer as the date I was given was too far away but the refused and then threatened me with a 25pound charge if I cancelled or absent. Eventually, they did not show up at all and gave me yet another post date again which unfortunately is a week day and I work full time, I called then twice now and have asked to be connected to cancellations. they have put me on mute claiming that there is a queue for cancellations. I told them that for there to be a queue, it means their services are bad and people want to leave. They are not reliable and definitely not a company to use their services even if they offer 1million channels more. Rubbish people! Rubbish network.

Been a Sky customer for over 12yrs and always found the service to be pretty good, well that was until I started getting problems with my broadband. The connection has been dropping for 2 months and I've been on the phone so many times to their "Technical Team" to try and get the problem resolved but I'd just be as well banging my head off a wall as I'm getting no where with them. They keep telling me the drops are due to my wifi connection even though I get the same drops running a ping tests from their router which rules out the wifi. One of their team who's name is Simon suggested I upgrade to fibre to fix the problem. I told him how about fixing the service I'm already paying for!!!! Anyway long story short, after 2 months of getting no where and 3 routers later I've finally given up and moved to plusnet as I can't stand dealing with idiots who haven't got a clue how to fix a service they offer. Looks like I'm not the only one frustrated with Sky broadband as it seems to be a common theme throught out these types of forums.

The worst broadband service I ever come through. Had a problem with broadband last month and it took 15 days to get it solved. And now that I'm moving ,had requested to shift my broadband on 23 of December. The call centre guy said ders some problem with my new home bt conection and he wud give me a call as soon as he wud rectify the problem. But till now he dint turn up.don't trust this sky anymore. Better to switch to Virgin media.I wud give negative stars as review if there was any

I have moved to a new flat and I had to change my broadband provider because there was no Virgin line here. God, in my life I used dozens of broadband providers but this is, I don't even know what this is. Poor customer support, poor connection, cheap website. Don't do this. There are better services out there.

Absolutely terrible. I cancelled, got email through confirming and then discovered I had money taken out of my account after services had ended. Sky already owed me money as the cancellation date was before the end of the month I had paid for in advance. As if that wasn't bad enough I have to ask sky for a refund in 2 months time. And I can't cancel the direct debit as that will mess up getting a refund. This is exactly why I dislike direct debits.
