Absolutely rubbish broadband tonight I have no internet I work from home. The past two months have been dire. When I rang for advice I was told 6 devices were too many. Two laptops two phonesNOT IN USE no apps open a smart tv on standby and a work mobile not using any internet. Really!? Want to charge me to leave and. The day they confirm my new provider has been in touch and confirming the change will take place in 3 weeks and they will charge me my internet starts playing up. The day after and the orange light meaning no internet has been on for over an hour. But they still want money. The clown on the phone told me that I couldn’t raise a complaint or a dissatisfaction with her as “we don’t have a complaints procedure’. Upload speed was so low my IT department at work laughed and said they were pretty sure now tv had no right charging for such poor service. And this was while word to the router. Can’t wait to get a decent connection. With someone else.

Despite 5 phone calls and two emails, I received no response to my request for progress report on my proposed change to now broadband order, resulting in an extra charge from Sky for period after my contract with them ended.

Would give a zero if i could, signed up once and booked an engineer but when I called up to check this, they said my account had not been created. The person on the phone set us up for an engineer to come out in 2 weeks time, only for our order to be cancelled without giving any explanation. When I called up they said we had no capacity for broadband with them, which they didn’t mention any of the other times they were taking my card details.
Absolute shambles. Had a member of the customer service team put the phone down on me mid call twice
AVOID

Absolutely dire, i'm not downloading, just browsing..... my hub keeps dropping and rebooting, i tried help desk chat but guess what.... couldn't get chat going properly as every 3 mins my hub failed, finally managed to find a help line number. Nice chap at the other end says my hub dropped 17 times in first 90 minutes. Said it was only sent out at 17 and I was pulling 24mbs, reset it by dialling in... not been any better so tomorrow morning i'm telling them to poke it....

1. Download speed fluctuates a lot.
2. Mostly reliable through 2023.
3. Price rose from £22 -> £25.50 and now £38.50 with 12m contract (automatic).
4. Customer service is mostly through a forum where you can read FAQs or ask other users questions. Most customer service links are circular and go nowhere. There is a number to cancel the subscription, where wait time is ~5mins.

Going from Virgin was a risk but it am on brilliant broadband after a few teething problems caused by old line connections getting great typical speed and streaming now tv , can use I pad for movies etc good home reception and saving money . I have wasted a lot of cash on fast fibre I didn’t need. So goodbye Virgin. I highly recommend now broadband I guess others have been unlucky . Don’t hesitate to join or switch .

Absolutely useless. The product is terrible and the speeds are just nonexistent. We have been with Now for a month and it feels like a year! We have already cancelled to go with someone else sue to how poor everything has been. The signal is terrible, we have had to buy 2 boosters for the house to try and get any signal anywhere, and still have incredibly poor connectivity. We have called customer services a number of times, they seem to just want you off the phone quickly and don’t really offer any help. They were supposed to send an engineer after the 4th call to them just for my wife to wait in all day and no one turn up. Having called them again, they eventually admitted that no one ever did come out. As I type this, no streaming services on my tv which is in the same room as a booster, can connect to anything so I will need to reset the hub for the 7th time today!! Avoid this lot at all costs.

Absolutely tragic. I have never come across such awful service. No customer support whatsoever, can’t get hold of anyone and cannot cancel account as they keep charging me. I had to go to the bank to end it. Backward is not a good enough word. Be careful with setting up anything with amateur company.

For many years I was with Plusnet but decided to switch to Now Broadband last January due to a price incentive. It was a big mistake in my opinion as the service has been comparatively poor with frequent dropouts. I often come home from work to find the Internet down with me having to restart their router (which is awful) to get things up and running again.
Will be leaving NTVB before the end of the contract even if it means losing some money (yes I am that desperate to change!).
In my opinion there is better out there so don't be fooled by price alone.

Was recommending NOW to friends but they said lots of bad reviews here, so here I am, writing a positive one. Had FAB (VDSL) for 18 months, at 12th month cost jumped, called them up and they renewed at a more reasonable price + a voucher. Always good bandwidth, has been reliable for my work VPN and NOW TV & PRIME don't lag or jitters. Not the cheapest VDSL price plan but I've had cheaper ones before (beginning with an "O"), happy to pay a tiny bit more for reliable service. My area is in IG6 and I have been a happy customer.

Absolutely shocking. Don't waste your time or money. After over two months of trying to get Now Broadband set up I have given up. In total I was given 9 different instalation dates, the only one of these which wasn't cancelled, moved or just didn't get booked correctly I sat at home all day and the engineer didn't turn up. They seemed absolutely incapable of booking an appointment for me, I would be told I had a date then 2 days later they would ring me and ask for three dates, invariably about a week after my original date, then they would say the first one hadn't gone through. After hearing 'I can only apologise' for the 100th time I realised that was literally all they could do and gave up.

Unbelievably poor service.
Extremely slow speed. I can’t believe this company is still standing here despite this poor service.
I wish I could have another choice. Their speed is never as good as they promise. I even sent them the screenshot of speed which was just below 1Mbps, but they still didn’t pay any attention at all. I can’t even see a 5 minutes youtube video with this broadband without being interrupted 3-4 times due to poor speed.
Thanks to my EE mobile connection which has far better speed than this broadband, which I have to use so often to send my emails or do my office work, which is impossible with this broadband.
I wouldn’t recommend this connection to anyone at all. I even asked them to terminate, but they wouldn’t do it. I wish I could know how to complain against this company. Does anyone know how to do that?

I am due to move house in 1 month. I called them a few weeks ago to schedule this and even had email confirmations to say that the broadband will be switched on the correct date. They shut off my broadband a month early and couldn't get it back. They then said it would take up to 2 weeks to get back, until someone else took the last spot in the green box outside. Now I am without broadband for a month until I move. Thanks NOW TV!

Hi there,
I signed up for the Now TV broadband package to go activate on Monday 30th March. Unfortunately it didnt go active. So I called to see as to why.
Tuesday 31st I was informed by a gentleman that my account querey will be pushed into 'teir 2' and I would be informed on Thursday 2nd April personally by himself.
I then called again on Tuesday to gain more information about what teir 2 actually is and also in the hope we may have received an update already. Unfortunately no update but a helpful amount of information.
I waited patiently till Thursday 2nd April as discussed. I received no phone call so called up myself and spoke to someone else who informed me that he will personally contact me on Sunday 5th to provide me an update.
Again, I waited patiently until Sunday. After receiving no form of contact by 4pm, I once again called myself. I spoke to a woman who informed me that we're unlikely to hear anything today due to a lot of openreach' branches being closed on Sunday, not to worry thats understandable. I was then infromed it will most likely be Monday 6th April and if theres any update then the relevent team will inform me.
Monday 6th I called again. I called with limited hope, expecting to hear the same old "im sorry" however upon speaking to the gentleman I was informed that they're looking to activate my wifi on 15th April. It also seemed like the gentleman was unsure as to why I havent been told about the date already, almost as if to say, the lady on Sunday could've informed me of that date.
I left the phone call thinking 'Great!' Not becuase I've been given a date but because someone has finally given me some information.
To be honest, I was not best pleased with the date given. I've paitently waited for a week to be told you've got to sit staring at a wall for another 10 days. As I said to the gentleman, this is a bit of a piss take from my perspective. I was recommended to Now TV from a friend who complimented the set-up speed, communication skills and wifi speed. All have been way below par!
Wednesday 15th rolled around, I called first thing to confirm its going live. I was informed that the teir 2 team still have intentions of going live today. As they close at 8pm I decided to call at 7:30 pm and I spoke to another gentleman. The gentleman was amazing! He was honest and considerate of the situation. He apologized on behalf of the complaints team and the teir 2 team. Even though he had nothing to do with either team he was full of useful information. He advised its unlikey to go live on 15th and to sign up for virgin media, then depending on which company can make my wifi go live first to then cancel the other. So I did. He informed me for the first time that all openreach comms lines have been closed since 20th. Why was i not told all this on 31st? I dont know.
From my perspective, the wifi not going active is not specifically anyone's fault. I understand that given the times that we're in, everyone is understaffed and you have to prioritize others. However... this is completely unacceptable, no comms from Now TV, all from me. Over 300 minutes of my time chasing for information.
Between 30th and 6th I have used all the data on my 4G plan, as had my flat mate. My flat mate was meant to be working from home since Tuesday 31st. As he has been unable to, he has been forced to take some holidays and some unpaid leave. After telling Now TV about that, they decided to do sweet nothing about it. Following all this i dont believe that teir 2 is actually a team but uf they are, they need to pick up the phone and be clear with the customer to stop them getting irate.
I'd like to say, all the staff i have spoken to have been extremely polite and friendly. And after each phone call I clarified that I was not having a go at the individual I was just venting at them. The last gentleman I spoke last actually thanked me for being polite to the staff even though i was angry.
Many Thanks
Harry Moss

This was genuinely the most awful, stressful, harrowing experience I've had with any customer service that I've experienced in my life. My WiFi has been delayed for over a month, the engineer completely missed the first appointment and they expect you to stay at home for an entire day to wait for them to come (btw they might not even come). Just forget about it. Other companies are more expensive by a bit, but at least you'll actually get wifi at some point with them. If you try to leave, they tempt you with false offers which they never follow through with. One guy told me he'd call me as soon as my broadband went live to upgrade me, when I wanted to leave, but that never happened. Honestly they are just a bunch of scammers. Their internet is also slower than mobile data. Seriously don't go with them, save yourself the energy.

Worst broadband experience I have ever had - and in general all providers are bad so the bar is low. Well done NOW broadband for being the worst. Internet connection is so weak my phone switches to 5G when I’m standing over the router. Customer service is abysmal and asking if the three lights show green and then saying there is nothing wrong when the signal is dripping out is unhelpful at best. Do not sign up with this provider, they are truly the worst.

Started off fantastically in October 2021, was being guaranteed a minimum download speed of 63 Mbps and most of the time, it achieved that, AT THE BEGINNING, then it started to drop, and drop, and drop. Today, 31/1/2023, I'm getting between 2.89 & 3.08 Mbps download speed and between 5.54 & 11.2 upload speed, so more than 60 Mbps below what this bunch of c*nts promised, they're all the same!

I've used many ISP's in the past and work in IT. For some reason I decided to cheap out on broadband and went for NowTV. You definitely get what you pay for. Can't say anything bad about customer service as I've not had need to contact them.
NowTV provide possibly the worst hardware I've ever encountered and make it difficult for you to use 3rd party routers. 3rd party routers have to support DHCP option 61.
Initially the wifi was appalling. If you're suffering poor wifi, invest in a wireless AP or 2.
Also, the router itself. I'm paying for the full high speed and since moving in would get around 30mbps max. Since swapping out the rubbish NowTV unit for a combination of a 10 year old HG612 and an old Mikrotik router I'm seeing speeds of 55mbps download.
NowTV provide the worst kit ever!! Unless you're ok with replacing it all, go with someone else!

Installed 3 months ago, moved from Virgin, what a nightmare, got super fibre thinking it would be good, it drops off on a daily basis it, the speed is slow, Netflix buffers on SD, the hub is 10m away front the TV with no walls, I complained and they said they would send a specialist engineer out from Openreach, he advised that everything was OK(equipment and connection) but the WiFi was just poor, I called NOWTV and they said they don't guarantee a wireless service only a wired service and it would cost me £70 to cancel, joke, AVIOD LIKE THE PLAGUE!! Back to Virgin for me

buyers beware! I ordered their (very reasonably) priced Brilliant Broadband with free anytime calls package for £18 per month (first year). I was therefore very surprised when my first month's bill was £62.70. When challenged they explained that I had apparently ordered the package without free calls (although it was the same cost). Also their order confirmation, confirmed this. This "clearly" states: "pay as you use calls: £0.00", which I took to mean that they were free. They said it meant that there were no calls included. Needless to say as soon as my mandatory period ends, I will be off...

Hi, I had nowtv broadband 8 days ago. There are at least 50 times (sometimes each 10 mins) dropping out seen per a day so far, also the speed sometimes is not stable. It made me crazy. I texted costumer service. They helps me, and told me that the first ten days is normal. I have never seen any broadband that give fluctual signals to ther costumer. It is the worst broadband that I have ever seen in the UK. I do not recommend anyone to use it. If I had not to use it, I would not select it. My zone is not available for many firms and there is so few contract for 12 months. So, there is no any good things but costumer service. It is totally disappointment for me. If it still continues within 1 week, and they do not solve it, I will cancel it. It affected my work, study and communucations.

If I could give ZERO I would.
I had my internet from NOW installed beginning of January. From the day after the engineer arrived internet didn't work. I reported the fault 9th March on moving into the property. NOW confirmed they will send an engineer round . I received a text message the beginning of the week confirming the engineer will come round and replied yes to being at home that day. The morning of the visit came, I receive another text message confirming the engineer will be round between 1-6pm and that if no one is in you may be charged £25. I stayed at home the afternoon waiting for the engineer to come, only for 5.30pm to roll around with no engineer in sight. I call customer service to find out no one was ever going to come because it is an external issue. I asked to be cancel my membership and be reimbursed for the loss of service I incurred. This still hasn't happened. Multiple phone calls to CS only to find out I will only be refunded £12!?! After I've paid £80 for a service that never worked and that also wasted my day and meant I had a loss of income on the day that I waited for the engineer to come. Useless, time wasters, rude, disrespectful. Don't go with this company.

0840 on a Sunday morning and trying to talk to someone at Now. Taken through various menus which you have to listen to in full before you are allowed to select an option. Then advised the department is closed. Opening hours are 0830 to 2000 7 days a week. Standard fare from another parasite company that exists to provide minimal service while trying to bleed as much money as possible from their customer base.

Literally awful.
My order was cancelled twice and I was simply sent texts on both occasions that I had to ring customer service. Expect to wait nearly an hour to speak to someone. Once you do they push back the date for another two weeks and can't even give you a reason as to why. Honestly the worst company let alone internet provider I have had the experience of dealing with.
Perhaps the silver lining is that they showed how terrible they were before I was locked in for twelve months, but I would do everything to avoid this company.

I'm coming to the end of 18 month contract and can't wait to leave. My main gripe is the pathetic wifi signal and lack of ports with the router. Also fed up with Internet dropping out. I don't bother calling about it because customer service leave a lot to be desired and it eventually comes back. I could live with that but not the rubbish router. Bradband speed OK most of the time.
