I was phoned by this company offering cheaper service, after a long chat on th phone, decided to go with them, I was told everything would be taken care of, sit back and wait for the change over,at the time we were still in contract with BT but said to leave it with them and there would be no contract charge to leave BT not the case BT started emailing me with contract charges for leaving, on top of that I was getting several bills from direct save , I made many phone calls to this company but no one returned them. Also my router never arrived for the setup date , phoned them again and was told they had run out and not sure when they will get some more in , with that I phoned BT and they still had control of the broadband so they put a block on it so direct save were unable to take over, but unfortunately they had got the phone line and for the 3 weeks they had it the line was dreadful with crackling, I couldn't make a call.
To conclude my whole experience with Direct save was harrendouse and cost a lot money, my advice on hearing the name direct save , run away as fast as you can

Cowboys - AVOID!!! Signed a 2 year contract with them. Had frequent problems, they always overcharge and refuse to refund (eg double charging on line rental - you pay for about 16 to 18 months each year!!!). Poor broadband (only 30% of the speed of previous providers we have used). Poor reliability, often went down. Rude abnoxious, uncaring customer service. How bad can you get.

changed supplier. They took an extra months money by mistake?? and charged £19 for not giving 28 days notice. They said that they could not give WRITTEN reason for these errors. Awaiting full refund as promised.

From day one I have had a very intermittant internet speed, Direct save are saying it is my signal extender not the internet. The booster can only boost what it gets it can't increase the signal.Blame is always laid elsewhere. No chance of a refund if you have paid up front. Absolutely do not use these guys except for telephone. There needs to be questions asked where the internet is going to be used in relation to router and what type of signal can be expected, we are not all technical geniuses some of us are of a different generation and need guidance! an expensive steep learning curve.

Been with them since early days and recently upgraded to fibre. Excellent service, helpful staff who do what they say.
Had a problem over last few weeks of declining broadband speed. Rang them yesterday (25/01/16)and was promised new router which arrived today. Talked through set up step by step and system now running well. Many thanks to VJ.
Cannot recommend them enough.

I would really love it if there was a no stars choice as my selection would be blank. Directsave are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with, took a years line rental up front and from day one I've had very bad phone line and my broadband is up and down like a prosties drawers. Directsave have been called 30 or so times and I've never had a call back nor have they done anything to fix my problems, only thing Charlie in customer services does is blame everything bar Directsave crap line. Ombudsman is now involved but not holding my breath, just need to get away from this cowboy company and get a provider that can give a service that works. I would most definitely NOT recommend Directsave to anyone.

I thought I was completely satisfied and happy with direct save until today when I found out there is a limit of 1500 minutes per month I was shocked that is only 48 mins a day I can use that on 1 call,I am home all day and make a lot of calls to friends and family. After speaking to a customer adviser who was very sympathetic and polite, I have now got to watch my minutes until my contract runs out as I have only been with them for a couple of months and paid my line rental upfront for 12 months, I have got a long wait before I can leave them, unless they come up with a better deal before then.SUCH A SHAME.They charge 14p connection and 7p per minute over the 1500 limit,SCANDALOUS!!!!!!!!!!!
