    Speeds when it's working are decent enough but I'm constantly dropping out. Sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes for a day. This has happened upwards of 10 times now and we've only had it for a few months.

    I work from home and it's stopping me from doing my job and in the evening it's stopping me from doing anything online.

    Avoid this company at all costs, total trash.

    Speed has been declining over 2 months to intermittent connection.
    Have been waiting for 10 days after reporting the fault and still not resolved or any contact from the services engineer that was promised.

    Believe the terrible reviews, this company are truly dreadful. Engineer installing was incompetent, even made us buy our own cable, service drops out repeatedly, the engineers even admit that the company does not invest in their own infrastructure. MASSIVE price hike at the end of the contract. REFUSE to process formal complaints and bolshy attitude frrom customer service at the mere thought that there should be some compensation for all the hours you are left without a service, and in our case with no landline either.

    It is a waist of money live very close to a airband tower and keeps cutting out I have made more phone calls to them than I have in my life time dont waist your time service is absolute shambles would be better if they worked at an airport as they give no flying

    I wish I had never touched these clowns, was ok for about 6 months, dropped out maybe once a week. Now it's just next to useless. Getting less than 1mbps at times. It's up, it's down, it's all l over the place. Will be exiting as soon as my contract allows. Support are quick to respond but can't do anything - it's their infrastructure that is inadequate. VERY DISAPPOINTED

    We are currently supplied by airband and are having issues accessing one of our main school pages where we log all pupil information. This has been on going for over a week now. We have phoned several times only to be hung up on after waiting for over 40 minutes on hold, we have had no response or even and acknowledgement to emails sent and the issues is still on going. This is extremely poor customer service and we are currently not receiving the service promised and which we are paying for. The matter will be escalated if we do not receive a response and the issue resolved over the next few days. Redmond Peel sort it out!

    Terrible support

    No internet, I have raised a support ticket every day for 2 weeks and called many times

    No call backs, no email updates, in fact, no confirmation of any kind that I have raised an issue

    Promises of call backs come and go, with no callback

    If you need a service you can rely on for business and streaming DO NOT use Airband

    UPDATE: I'm downgrading them to 1 star. Over two weeks ago got a phone call from a sales person who enthusiastically set up a direct debit for me because they were ready to connect us to the network and promised someone would be in touch to sort it out. Nearly three weeks later nothing happened and when I called Airband today I was told "this is just sales", someone is supposed to call me tomorrow to check if they can even connect us. They are completely useless and incompetent. Should get zero stars or start hiring sales people who know what's going on before they speak with customers.

    We bought a house in rural Devon and before making an offer called Airband to check when they were going to connect the house to the broadband network they were apparently building. Since then, we have been told by Airband that we will be connected in Sept 22, late 22, early 23, April 23, mid 23, and mid 24… sometimes two different people call us the same week to give us two different dates. Clearly they haven’t got a clue what’s going on, but their marketing people are keen to sign you up. It would be good to have the product or at least to know when it is going to be available before calling people. I’m giving them two stars because at least you can talk to someone every time you call them, even if they cannot help you in any way.

    during the 30 days cooling off period our internet went down for 4 days.The engineer (the same person who installed it). Fixed it within 10 mins. He was very friendly and did know what the problem was. the one complaint i have is that airband tell you in ALL there documents on line that you can get airband talk. I phoned BT to cancel my broadband and told them that airband would come for my landline that was the end of february but airband has still not applied for it as yet. I was told at one stage that airband talk was not as yet up and running! I am at the moment having to pay BT for my broadband and telephone as they do not just do telephones anymore. i was told the end of this month (MARCH) but nothing has happened as yet. Not happy paying for a service from BT that i am not using because of airband talk. I hope a resolution to this problem is resolved soon

    We had been with wild west, then onto airband for 4+ years. On the whole quite pleased with speed and reliability compared to our old BT service. That was until service was cut off to our village with no warning. Thought the system was just down but after 24 hours rang to be told to get our broadband from somewhere else! Switched back to BT now and the speed seems as good as airband but we had over 2 weeks without internet because we and the others in the village were 'hung out to dry' NOT IMPRESSED

    As with many other reviews, when it works it's fine. That's just a rarity. You can forget about customer service, they'll open a support ticket and close it again, sometimes with no further contact. Despite over 40 support tickets in a year of being a customer the reliability hasn't improved whatsoever. There's no way of contacting anyone with seniority. They also frequently fall short of their service level agreement - only go with them if there's no other option.

    Please can I give nil stars? Very disappointed. Frequently crashes. Messages saying "DNS Server cannot be reached" and "No Broadband Connection". Have tried email and phone contact with Airband but received no practical help. I've decided to ditch the hassle and cancel whilst still within the 30 day cooling off period.

    Airband are such a shower that i would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

    Sadly, CDS seem to practically have shares in them, making them the only game in town.

    WHEN it’s working properly, the speed of our wireless link actually isn’t bad – Sadly, it’s reliability leaves a lot to be desired, and their sorry-excuse for customer service even more so.

    I’ve honestly never encountered anything quite like it before – Whenever there’s a major issue, they simply outright turn their phonelines off!

    Likewise, their claims of 24/7 are simply untrue. What it is in reality is 9-5 with on-call cover.

    The person on call isn’t actually in a position to help you. Sadly, their daytime support isn’t actually all that much better either – You typically just get told “someone will have to call you back” – They never do.

    I have now had an issue open for over a month with them. Despite repeated calls, emails & shaming them on social media – I've yet to receive a substantiative reply / acknowledgement of the issue - Much less a resolution!

    If you have ANY viable alternative options, I’d strongly encourage you to pursue it instead, for the sake of your sanity!

    For anyone considering using this shower. Dont, really, dont, I have been trying to get someone to sort out the intermittent service for 6 weeks!!! Not one person has bothered to get back to me to explain the tech issues or when it will be resolved. I can't watch streaming TV as it cut outs every 20mins. Dont be fooled by thinking getting internet over the airwaves will resolve your current internet issues. It wont. I could just about accept that they have tech issues if someone bothered to speak to me and helped, like someone cared. But they dont. Steer clear klaxon.

    Intermittent service,extremely slow speeds, it was much better when we first moved to airband. Currently have an outstanding fault for over a week with no feedback from airband on what the problem is and how long it will take to fix

    Initially a bit of a rocky start with significant packet loss causing it to be unstable.

    However, having contacted the customer service, they were prompt in responding and actioning the next steps to fixing it, as this appeared to be a routing issue. After a couple of 'fixes', I am now wholly satisfied with the 100% uptime and full speeds that I am getting.

    Only one small minor improvement would be a small update from the team when they say they've 'fixed' it, would be to say in broad terms what they fixed, as this might help identify further issues.

    Customer service has been both good and apalling. Mostly poor. The broadband is shocking - service drops out several times a day and speeds have dropped at times to less than 1mbps. Seem incapable of rectifying the issues. Contract up within the month and can't wait to move on.

    No internet for 3 weeks now. Including all over Christmas, which has been so disappointing for my children who got games they haven’t been able to play for Xmas & have run out of mobile data on their phones so couldn’t message friends and family merry Xmas.
    We are paying more for extra mobile phone data & wasting a sky & Netflix subscription as we can’t watch anything.
    I’ve called and emailed so many times. Always get told they’ll call you back but no one ever does. Three weeks! I don’t even know what else to do now. That many calls and emails logged and an official complaint, and still no one gets back to you.
    DONT GO NEAR THEM. Terrible terrible customer service.

    we've been with Airband on their radio based service for several years. It's always been unreliable when the weather is bad and we have always had to have a landline for back-up purposes. At the moment we haven't had any broadband for 11 days and they won't even give an estimate on when it will be back.

    Impressed so far. Customer service and installation was first class and we are getting the contacted speed. Not seen a big difference in the usage experience now that we have 5x the download speed but maybe that's more to do with using WiFi and what we use the connection for.

    I applied for the government GIGABIT BROADBAND grant for rural broadband. The deal is anything over £1,500 has to be met by the applicant. In my case the excess was approx £40,000 +VAT delivery 18 months. Airband turned up in the neighborhood. £29.98 a month no installation fees and better reliability than Openreach. Good service 35-40Mbps download 10Mbps upload. Been with them for over a year. UK support by knowledgeable folk whose first language is English. And, I ditched the land line and use VOIP for 2 phone lines. The plan I use is 1 penny/min outgoing call charge free incoming calls. Plus Hi-Fi telephone calls. Its win-win. No wonder those little dishes are popping up around me.

    When finally Installed the actual installation by engineers Alwyn and Ed went very well indeed, they were excellent. Same can't be said for customer service or customer support. So far that has been as bad as BT. For example, no response to issues, no explanations to why service has dropped out etc. Good download and upload speeds as advertised. Not stable or reliable thus far. But above all very poor support, just don't bother responding. Now where have I experienced that before? I guess with Airband you get the same appalling customer service as BT but a faster internet. But on the other hand BT internet service is reliable.

    The engineer was very friendly and efficient. Broadband is fast and working well. ( Day 2 on fibre broadband). As an organisation Airband needs improvement. The people in the office don’t seem to know what the people on the ground are doing. From seeing the fibre being put in the ground right outside our house to being installed took about two years. Now we have it , it’s fantastic.

    I can't imagine why public money has been given to this truly incompetent company. We have a permanently intermittent service but Airband are in total denial! I guess they realise they are bad but they have NO COMPETITION so absolutely no incentive to provide a half decent service.

    Very impressed with Airband. They were very accommodating and were able to tailor the Internet package for my needs. Installation was quick and professional, really friendly staff. Speeds are 4 times quicker than my previous supplier and the WiFi signal range is better.

    I was so optimistic when joining AirBand but we have found the service to be exceptionally unreliable. Weekly outages and issues with their DNS server means we just can not rely on our broadband anymore. While I think AirBand have good intentions I thinkt hey have grown to fast and are not able to reliably provide a service.

    I would avoid them for at least 24 months from this review to see if they find their feet.

    Moved to Airband as they where able to offer me faster broadband and better service than BT have been able to. Service from Airband has been great since install, yes there have been small outages at time but that's the same with any broadband provider. Speed has been as sold Fibre 150 (150Mbps download with 50Mbps Upload). Airband also kept there promise of refunding me the early exit payment when I cancelled my old BT service. Customer service have been very responsive to any query's I have had about the service, billing etc. very happy with it.....

    I have today had my service fitted in a very rural location. I would just like to thank the 2 engineers that attended today. They both did an exceptional job! I would especially like to thank the younger engineer as he went "above and beyond" for my family!!! I would not hesitate to recommend Airband for a 5* service.

    We changed to Airband to improve our internet speed. We pay the same as our family in town where they get 40+ speed but ours still is intermittent when watching films etc. Meetings on zoom can be unreliable. It’s better than we had before but still isn’t really good enough.

    Very slow to non existent broadband after promised 40 mbps
    Now 8 days after complaint no action
    No contact from customer support
    No internet at all tonight, out of hours service just cuts line
    Internet customer care stops creation of new complaint
    Truly dreadful customer experience
    I switched from BT because of bad speed and customer experience, they don’t seem so bad now
    So just coming up to two weeks after my complaint and I çant watch streaming tonight 11/12 2022 I can't do a speed test as speed is too low to load speed test. I still have had no other communication other a couple of what are basically fob off messages of we are working on your problem.
    I hope anyone considering using air band will take careful note of this account of theinteraction or lack of with this company
